Privacy Policy
Applies to Android & iOS ย ยทย Last updated: April 2026
Twi Bible (Nyame Asem), developed by SpiceGH, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use our app on Android and iOS, and how it is used.
Data We Collect
We do not directly collect or store personal data ourselves. However, the app integrates third-party SDKs that collect certain data to serve ads, measure app performance, and report crashes. This may include:
- Advertising identifiers (e.g. Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
- Device information (model, operating system version, screen size)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
- App usage events (screen views, session duration)
- App version and build information
- Crash reports and device state at the time of a crash
Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party SDKs. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:
- Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) โ used to display ads within the app. Google may collect advertising identifiers, device information, and ad interaction data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Analytics โ used to understand how users interact with the app (e.g. which screens are visited, session length). Data is aggregated and anonymised. See Firebase Privacy.
- Firebase Crashlytics โ used to automatically detect and report app crashes so we can fix bugs quickly. Crash reports include stack traces, device state, and app version โ no personal content is captured. See Firebase Privacy.
How We Use This Data
Data collected by Google Mobile Ads is used to deliver and measure advertisements. Data collected by Firebase Analytics is used solely to improve app performance and user experience. Crash data from Firebase Crashlytics is used to identify and fix bugs. We do not sell any data to third parties.
Permissions
The app may request device permissions (such as storage access for offline content) solely to enable core app features. On Android 13 and later, you will be asked whether to allow personalised ads; you can change this preference at any time in your device settings.
Data Retention
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data retained by Google (via AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics) is subject to Google's own retention policies. All Bible content and user preferences (bookmarks, reading progress) are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
Children's Privacy
The app is intended for general audiences. The advertising SDK is configured to request non-personalised ads only, in compliance with Google's policies for family-friendly content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
