Privacy Policy

Applies to Android & iOS ย ยทย  Last updated: May 2026

English Bible, developed by SpiceGH, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data may be processed when you use the app on Android and iOS, and how it is used.

Data We Collect

We do not directly sell or store personal data on our own servers. The app uses third-party SDKs that may process data to serve ads, measure app usage, provide remote configuration, and support audio downloads. This may include:

  • Advertising identifiers such as Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA
  • Device information such as model, operating system version, and screen size
  • Ad interaction data such as impressions, clicks, and mediation responses
  • App usage events such as screen views, sessions, and feature usage
  • App version and build information
  • Audio download and network request metadata handled by Firebase services

Third-Party Services

The app may use the following third-party SDKs. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

  • Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) โ€” used to display ads within the app. Google may collect advertising identifiers, device information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • AppLovin โ€” used as an AdMob mediation ad source when enabled. AppLovin may receive ad request data, device information, advertising identifiers, and ad interaction data to bid on and deliver ads. See AppLovin's Privacy Policy.
  • Firebase Analytics โ€” used to understand how users interact with the app, such as which screens are visited and how often features are used. See Firebase Privacy.
  • Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Storage โ€” used to configure app behavior and provide downloadable Bible audio files. See Firebase Privacy.

How We Use This Data

Data processed by Google Mobile Ads and AppLovin is used to deliver and measure advertisements. Firebase Analytics is used to improve app performance and user experience. Firebase Remote Config controls app settings, and Firebase Storage provides Bible audio files.

Local App Data

Bible highlights, downloaded audio files, notification state, and other app preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to SpiceGH. You can remove them by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Permissions

The app may request permissions for notifications, audio playback, sharing, and advertising consent. On iOS, the app may request tracking permission using Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change device permissions at any time in system settings.

Children's Privacy

The app is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Advertising and analytics providers may process data according to their own child-directed treatment and privacy policies where applicable.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
